SUMMER CAMP FAQS
Mountain Kids Summer Day Camp is a licensed, activity-based summer camp in Fort Collins designed for children ages 5–12. Our program blends gymnastics, swimming, crafts, games, and exciting field trips to create one of the most well-rounded kids summer camp programs in Northern Colorado.

- Extended Care: 7:15 AM – 5:45 PM (included at no extra charge)

Our Fort Collins summer camp is open to children ages 5–12. Activities are structured by age group to ensure campers enjoy age-appropriate challenges, socialization, and fun.

Families choose Mountain Kids for a trusted, high-quality kids summer camp program that keeps children active, safe, and engaged.
Campers are grouped by the grade they will enter in the fall, helping kids connect with peers and feel comfortable in their Fort Collins summer camp experience. Groupings may adjust slightly based on enrollment.
- Full-time (4–5 days/week): $495/week
- Part-time (1–3 days/week): $390/week
- Annual Camper Registration Fee: $100 per child
A minimum enrollment of four weeks is required. Families receive a 10% sibling discount, making Mountain Kids one of the most flexible kids summer camp programs in Fort Collins.
Lunch is not provided daily. Families should pack a lunch, snacks, and a water bottle each day. Free pizza Fridays are included for campers—details are listed in weekly schedules.
Weekly schedules for our Fort Collins summer camp are posted online and password-protected. Registered families will also receive schedules via email for the weeks they are registered for.
Registration opens to the public in early February and must be done in person at Mountain Kids.

Yes! Field trips are a favorite part of our Fort Collins summer camp, with outings to local parks, bowling, roller skating, movies, and other kid-friendly destinations.
Our experienced counselors are trained to create a safe, welcoming environment. Small group sizes ensure individual attention and meaningful connections throughout our kids summer camp program.
The Mountain Kids Summer Day Camp is open from 7:15 am-5:45pm. Daily camp activities begin at 9:00am and end by 4:30pm. Field trips and sport activities are offered in the mornings. Afternoons are reserved for swimming lessons four days a week and gymnastics lessons two days a week. Mountain Kids Day Camp runs for ten full weeks throughout the summer.
The Mountain Kids Summer Day Camp strives to provide a positive and friendly atmosphere by focusing on individual attention, positive group interaction and cooperation by maintaining a low camper to counselor ratio. Many of our camp staff have or are working towards degrees in teaching and other related fields and join the Mountain Kids camp to continue working with kids during the summer. Camp counselors are First Aid and CPR certified, trained in safety procedures and precautions, including a swim course each year. We also have at least one counselor in each group certified in medical administration. The Mountain Kids Summer Camp has been licensed by the State of Colorado since 1986.
